For over forty years, the Mill Creek Women’s Club has offered many opportunities for women in Mill Creek and the surrounding area to gather together in friendship, have fun through the many social activities offered. We are a self-sustaining organization and pride ourselves in making a difference with our own members providing the leadership and helping hands to keep our organization vibrant.
Monthly Membership Meetings with captivating programs as well as a variety of smaller group activities and social events truly reflect our commitment to friendship and fun. From book clubs and craft groups to bunco, canasta, mahjong, cooking club, happy hour, and quilting our club provides many opportunities for members who share like interests.
Another vital part of our mission is making a difference in our community. Our Philanthropy Committee plans and delivers an annual festive fundraiser in November to support a charity or charities as designated each year. A recent fundraiser allowed us to donate $20,000 to Esther’s Place in Everett, a charity that serves women in need.
Our members provide the leadership and teams to operate Working Wardrobe, located at the Everett YWCA. Working Wardrobe allows women in need to shop in a boutique-like setting to select donated clothing, especially for job interviews that can help them become self-sustaining.
